Locks of Love
Every Friday we offer ‘locks of love’ hair cuts at only a $10 service charge. We will send the hair out for you. Please note: Those who wish to donate 10 or more inches of natural hair must meet these specific guidelines. Layered hair is acceptable if the longest layer is 10 inches. Hair that is colored or permed is acceptable. Hair that has been bleached (usually this refers to highlighted hair) is not usable. Colored hair is not usable if it is colored over bleached hair.

Miles for Moffitt Cancer Research

Nearly 4,000 runners and walkers crossed the finish line to help us fight cancer at the Fourth Annual Florida Bank Miles for Moffitt at the University of South Florida. Hundreds of participants signed the "Letter to Cancer" banner, putting all the diseases known as "cancer" on notice that Moffitt is Tampa's answer to the end of cancer.

Donation Requests for balance salon spa Partners
balance salon spa strongly believes in giving back to the community we serve. One of the ways we achieve this goal is through our donation of goods and services to Charitable Organizations that support and partner with balance salon spa; for auction, gifting at their fundraising events to those organizations.
To request a donation, please submit a request in writing which includes:
- Name and date of event. Please allow at least 2 weeks for processing.
- Name of the organization or charity being benefited.
- Date donation is requested to be received by.
- A description of the event.
- Name, address and phone number of contact person.
- Address to where the donation will be sent or name of the person who will pick up donation, as we do not deliver.
- Non-profit Internal Revenue Service contribution form (must be accompanied, in order to process donation).

8th Annual Martini's for Moffitt!
Per The Bay Area Advisors, "MARTINIS FOR MOFFITT is the flagship event that supports Moffitt Cancer Center’s critical cancer research programs. It is one of the best fundraising events in the Tampa Bay Area, providing a unique blend of entertainment and networking, while raising money to fight a devastating disease. Please join us at the event and in the fight for a cure!
Attendees will get an opportunity to relax while enjoying martinis, food, networking, live music, a presentation by Moffitt Cancer Center, along with a raffle and silent auction. We anticipate an attendance of approximately 800+ Guests.
Since its inception, the Bay Area Advisors has raised over $250,000 through the tireless efforts of its membership and the support of Moffitt Cancer Center, hundreds of donors, volunteers and businesses.
In 2012, the Bay Area Advisors donated $100,000 to the Advanced Prostate Cancer Collaboration initiative at Moffitt Cancer Center. This brings our grand total to over $350,000 donated since Martinis for Moffitt started.
